Haas@Work

Today a group of 50 MBA students, both full-time and part-time, will be heading down to San Jose for a day-long workshop at SunPower Corporation. The workshop is part of the Haas@Work experiential learning program, which is "a program that provides MBA students with an opportunity to engage with companies to address a current, high-level business challenge using innovation tools from the curriculum."

Our group is divided into five teams. Each team is assigned an aspect of the business challenge that SunPower wants us to tackle. We have been researching and brainstorming ideas for the last two weeks. Today we will work with SunPower employees to develop recommendations. At the end of the day, SunPower executives will make the decision on which ideas to implement. (I'm being vague in my descriptions here because we had to sign non-disclosure agreements, and I'm not quite sure what I can or cannot say. Hopefully you get the gist.)

It will be a fun and productive day, and then a three-day weekend ahead!
